As a parent your health and fitness should be important because we want to be around for our children and have the energy to keep up with them.
If you are anything like me, once you had children, it was more challenging to work on your health and fitness.
After I had my second child, my health – physical, mental, & nutritional – came last in a long list of priorities. I was also in denial that my health was a concern.
Once I realized I was overweight with little energy and on a quick road to medicating myself for the rest of my life; I started to change my eating habits, train for triathlons, improve my quality of sleep, and work on my mental health.
It wasn’t easy road and I still experiement with my health and fitness, but I feel 15 years younger.
