We can log onto Facebook and see who has a bigger house than us. Who purchased a new car for their spouse. Who is going on a remote beach vacation. Or which parents are giving us play by play activities of the weekend.
We can then easily think we are underachieving. Comparing what we have or what we do to others is a self destructing activity. Nothing good has ever come out of comparing. It is the thief of joy.
Stop wasting the time it takes compare. Don’t try to be like someone else. Spend more time working on being a parent, a better spouse, and a better version of you. It is a much better use of time.
